What Is A Good Pet For A 6ftx2ftx2ft Aquarium?
Due to poor health I’m no longer able to manage the very large water changes needed for my fish tank on a regular basis. I’d like to keep some other sort of pet in it, but it would have to be suitable for life in a 180 gallon glass tank. My initial thoughts are either rodents or reptiles (I have kept a pet corn snake for many years.) Before I go away and do some research I would be interested to see what ideas other people have.

Due to your poor health, I would advise against turtles. They are very long lived creatures. Unless you have someone to take care of it in case of your passing. I would try Anoles or Geckos.
Firstly sorry to hear about your ill health, hope you get better soon.
How about another snake? I have a Burmese Python and she is so beautiful. They don’t need a lot of care as you know having had a snake in the past, and so relaxing too. I love to sit with Bella on my shoulders and she doesn’t tell my secrets either lol. Best of luck whatever you decide to get, let me know wont you?
Iguana’s will be too big, they can be 6ft long themselves.
You could go with a pair of bearded dragons, they eat veggies and crickets as well as worms when they get larger.(15ish years)
Uromastics are also a good choice. They only eat veggies so there’s no running back and forth to a bait shop, plust they can live 25-30 years.
i think a small snake or a gecko or some king of small lizard like that would be good. snakes and gecko’s don’t need to eat every day, or at least snakes don’t. and the tank would be a great home for the gecko or lizards
A pair of ball pythons could fit in there. A pair of female beardies. I would say an iguana but it is too small. Iguanas need at least 6 x 5 x 4
Id go with a big iguana.
