What Does Dreaming About Forgetting To Feed Pet Fish Mean?
I haven’t had a fish for the past 5 years, since my pet fish died. Since then, I’ve been having recurring dreams where my fish is back inside a really dirty fish tank and I’ve forgotten to feed it. In the dream, I feel horrible about forgetting to feed it, but at the same time I think in the dream that it doesn’t make sense how I could forget to feed it for so long. Then I feed it a bunch of food and the dream is over. I know it’s weird, but does anyone know what it could mean? I have this dream about once or twice a week and it’s always bothered me. I alwyays took really good care of my fish, so I don’t know why I keep dreaming about it.
I used to experience something similar with my cats but then I have some serious abandonment issues relating to my babies. I would dream that I forgot to feed my babies and they were hungry and then one of my kids gets clawed by another cat and I forget to take him to the hospital. I think you must feel some sort of guilt – maybe towards someone else in your life who is represented by the fish. Maybe there is someone in your life right now who you are not treating fairly or fulfilling your responsibilities towards and the recurring dream is a reminder of things you need to do for someone else.
The fish represents spirituality. Perhaps the murky water indicates how you feel about your spiritual health. You feel bad about neglecting it and should feed your faith.

((In all actuality, it is not good to overfeed….because the stomach of a small fish is the size of an eraser head. Too much food will kill it……. However, symbolically speaking, it is half hazard because it is something that is not done on a regular basis but as a random measure – It is as if it is the only thing that can be done while it can be done…. and so the “nourishment” is overdone…. but done, none-the-less…))

**Because it reocurrs… it is something that you have not resolved in your life…….. And because it is an unresolved issue, it is something that is constantly on your mind…… Until you are able to get this issue finalized, it will keep coming to mind……
